The month of October is not only a time for cozy sweaters and pumpkin pies, but it’s also a month dedicated to the Non-GMO Project and a time to reflect on how we make a safer food system for our planet Earth. Simply Delish takes pride and recognizes the commitment to protecting and preserving our planet Earth. Ultimately, we strive to create delicious desserts while creating a safer food system. Compliant with vegan, plant-based, and keto lifestyles, our range of desserts is also Non-GMO. With this in mind, we want to share with you our Butterfly Effect and what our commitment means to the Non-Gmo Project! Get to know us, Simply Delish, and our commitment to the Non-GMO Project.
This month, we want to share with your our Butterfly Effect. Our range of Jels and Puddings are certified NON-GMO, but beyond our delicious desserts, the NON-GMO label is very meaningful. Without a doubt, when you taste Simply Delish desserts, you taste the natural flavors of Earth. With those flavors and ingredients, we recognize our place and want to give back to Earth and one another. With this intention, we sat down with founder and CEO, Martin Pamensky, to learn more about Simply Delish and its Butterfly Effect.
How did Simply Delish get its start?
In 2011, I traveled the world, seeking to identify the next sought-after products for the North American market. In fact, trendy movements like keto, sugar-free, and plant-based lifestyles prove to be popular. However, these lifestyles lack the availability of delicious desserts. That inspired us to embark on a mission to source certified NON-GMO, plant-based ingredients that strive to preserve our planet and world. From there, a global brand started that stands for healthy, delicious desserts for everyone everywhere.
How does your organization help shape a safer food system?
The ingredients that you’ll find in Simply Delish products are NON-GMO VERIFIED and sourced from manufacturing facilities that are FDA and BRC Certified.
What do natural ingredients mean to you?
My daughter studied as a natural chef and holistic nutritionist which lead me to learn how critical it was to find companies that aligned with our values and views on preserving our planet. For that reason, the NON-GMO project takes pride in the preservation of natural ingredients while giving back to our Earth.
Looking towards the future, what are your goals towards the planet and future generations?
To use recyclable packing and to donate funds to Organizations that can make this world a better place.
